How to Use Bold, Italics or Strikethrough Text Formatting WhatsApp Features:
It’s pretty easy to do that,

To Make Bold: just add an asterisk (*) before and after the specifics words : e.g. *hello*

To Make Italics: just add an underscore (_) before and after the specifics words: e.g. _hello_

To Make Strikethrough: just add a tilde (~) before and after the specifics words: e.g. ~hello~

Note: You must add * or _ or ~ before and after your text. i.e. Just adding in starting only or adding after only will not work.

These new text stylings can also be entered in the WhatsApp web client and yeah, also the formatting will show up.

Why are Text Formatting Not Working on My Android/WhatsApp?
Bold, Italic or Strikethrough is now available for users running WhatsApp version 2.12.17 on iOS and version 2.12.535 for Android.
